Tags are an open field allowing you to categorize your influencers. Tagging influencers can be very helpful when filtering your Influencer list, Activity feed, or Analytics reports. Once a Tag is applied to an Influencer, any other user in the account will be able to see those tags -- even if the influencer is in a different project.
Some examples for tags are: tier 1, VIP, analyst, journalist, press, expert, consumer, positive, negative, etc.
You can also bulk tag influencers from the Influencer Page or on the Influencers list within a Project.
