Hi! A brand you're working with has invited you to connect your Snapchat account to Studios by Traackr. This will save both of you time and effort in screenshotting results and manually passing them on afterwards. This short post explains how you'll be able to do this.

We have two ways of tracking Snapchat content.

1. Snapchat Authentication

In order to connect your Snapchat account, the following must be fulfilled:

- Add a profile pic

- Have someone follow you

- Verify your email

- Enable public profile

- Add a public profile pic

- Add a profile bio description

- Have a birthday set

- Enable location

- Add a story

Enable Public Profile: You must be registered as a public Snapchat profile. Click here to learn more.

You can connect your Snapchat account during the creation of your Studios account or in your account settings after login.

This will take you to Snapchat where you will be able to connect your public Snapchat profile to Traackr by first logging in to Snapchat and then hitting "Continue" to connect their Snap public profiles to Traackr Studios:

How do I know if my account is connected?

You will be able to see in your Account settings your Snapchat account with the “Authenticated” status.

Troubleshooting Authentication Errors

If you encounter an error while authenticating your Snapchat account in Studios, please verify the following:

  1. You have verified your email in your Snapchat account settings

  2. You have verified your birthday in your Snapchat account settings

  3. You have registered your Snapchat account as a public profile

After updating the above, please try to re-authenticate your account in Studios again. If you continue to receive an error, please reach out to support@traackr.com for further assistance.

2. Snapstar

The influencer is a SnapStar, and they have also opted in to Snapchat Brand Partnerships

SnapStar account - this is a special creator status granted by Snapchat (not available to everyone).

What is a Snapstar?

SnapStar status is indicated by a star icon next to the creator’s name on their profile page:

A. Snapchat Brand Partnerships - this is an opt-in setting that enables publicly sharing Public Profile analytics insights with Snap's third party partners who focus on Creator discovery for Brand Partnerships.

Snapchat Brand Partnerships

The Brand Partnerships opt-in option is only available to select creators - specific eligibility criteria is confidential, and determined by Snapchat.

If the creator can see the ‘Brand Partnerships’ toggle in their Profile Settings, then this means that the option is available to them. Otherwise, it isn’t:

B. The Snapchat profile must be public for this option too. Click here to learn more.
